After going through space for a long time, the cats saw a planet that looked just like Earth and they decided to stop there. As soon as the cats reached the planet, they could see that something very strange was going on. The grass was huge. Insects were gigantic. The planet was just like Earth, except that everything was much, much larger.

          They came across a giant praying mantis. They were terrified and started to run for it. Sinbad couldn’t run as fast as the big cats, and the praying mantis caught up with him.

          "What an ugly little thing you are!" said the mantis. "I think I will have to kill you!"

          Sinbad had to think fast. "Please don’t kill me!" he cried. "I’m lost and I want to go back home. I just want to find my friends and get out of here."

          "You mean there are more ugly things like you around here?" said the mantis. "How terrible! Where did you come from? How many more of you are there?"

          Then Sinbad got an idea. "There are hundreds of cats like me on their way here, and some of them are even uglier than me! If you let me go, I’ll go back and tell them how dangerous this world is and they will never come here."

          Once the mantis heard that, she decided to help Sinbad find a way off her world. She told him where he could find a magic ring.

          "Now get away from me," she said. "I can’t stand the sight of you anymore."

          Sinbad headed off to look for Thomas and Zigger. He didn’t have to go far before he found them. He told them all about the praying mantis and told them where they could find a magic ring.
